Getting started
AS MOST OF THINGS IN LIFE, this blog had its origin closely related to something —my going to Canada to attend the XVI International AIDS Conference, also known simply as AIDS 2006— and then evolved in something else. I went to Toronto, where the conference was held, to write about the conference from the angle of faith based organizations' participation and contribution. When in Toronto, I discovered to my dismay that the rythm was too hectic and my limited energy happened to be exhausted by the end of the day —no post was written there then. Of course, after coming back from Toronto the blog had accomplished its purpose. But, probably because I invested so much time fiddling with its html code in order to polish its graphic appearance, I didn't want to give up on it, so I kept writing some posts. You are not obliged to read them.
